FCC KDB 447498 DR04 has been released

The KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance DR04 is based on the existing requirements of KDB 447498 D01 v06 and has been modified and updated according to the rules adopted in FCC 19-126. After that, it will mainly be updated and released in KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance V07.

 

When the KDB 447498 DR04 is official released in the future, the KDB 447498 D01 v07 can be used immediately, the KDB 447498 D01 v06 will expire on the December 31, 20201.

 

During the transition period, the PAG requirements is still subject to the FCC pre-review and complete the guidance test evaluation. All applications submitted after January 1, 2022 must use the new procedure (KDB447498 D01 v07).

 

In this change, the most variable is the requirement of SAR exemption test power, which is changed to Pth for calculation and determination. In the short range part (5mm~15mm), it will be stricter than before and will be close to the exempt power of Canada (ISED). For requirements,
