The substances of very high concern (SVHCs) for authorisation now contains 209 substances.

Recently, ECHA had issue an important resolution that 4 substances were added into SVHC list. Up to now, totally 209 items are under control.


On June 25, 2020, the European Chemicals Agency ECHA had issued a resolution that four substances are added to the SVHC list. 

These four new substances have reproductive toxicity and endocrine disrupting properties, which may cause serious harm to human health. Till now, the SVHC list has included 209 items.

From January 2021, if the company's products contain substances in the candidate list, it is also necessary to notify ECHA's SCIP database. Importers and manufacturers of articles containing candidate list substances will also notify ECHA within six months from the date they are included in the list (June 25, 2020).
