The European Union officially published the new Sub-1G band standard ETSI EN 300 220-2 V3.3.1 in March 2025. Compared with the previous edition, the new standard substantially increases the complexity of certification testing, posing new challenges for both test laboratories and equipment manufacturers.

If your company plans to conduct certification testing to this standard, you must fully prepare and submit the following critical information in advance; otherwise, some test items cannot be performed normally.

In accordance with Annex G of ETSI EN 300 220-2 V3.3.1, manufacturers shall declare the following EUT properties to meet the test requirements:

Additional Requirements (Products with Receiving Function)

For equipment equipped with receiving capabilities, you must also specify:

1. Receiver type: Digital receiver / Analog receiver

2. For digital receivers: provide test methods for Bit Error Ratio (BER) or Message Success Ratio (MSR)

Without the above information, receive-related test items cannot be executed.
