Argentina’s National Communications Authority (ENACOM) issued a notice on November 10, 2023, allowing motion detection radar equipment in the 57-71GHz frequency band to use standard-compliant reporting（such as: Reports recognized by ANATEL, IFETEL, FCC or similar regulatory agencies ）to certificated. Local testing in Argentina is no longer mandatory. Among them, the antenna gain value reported by the motion detection radar equipment in the 57-71GHz frequency band shall not exceed 40dBm, and the peak value shall not exceed 43dBm.

Argentina's ENACOM certification is a mandatory certification for wireless and telecommunications products. Most telecommunications line terminal equipment and radio frequency equipment need to be tested.

So, what are the common products that need to be sent to Argentina for testing?

1.  All terminal equipment connected to the public telephone network and low-power spread spectrum communication products operating in the 2.4-2.4835GHz frequency band;

2. Most radio equipment;

3. When the output power of the product meets any of the following conditions:

   a. The peak value of the conducted power exceeds 500mW;

   b. When measuring the radiated power, the average antenna gain exceeds 40dBm and the peak value exceeds 43dBm;

   c. The average power density exceeds 13dBm/MHz;
